Date:

While many recognize Uncle Chumi for her recent success in music, she has been in the entertainment industry for years, though not as a singer.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she once performed comedy at Bat Valley Theatre alongside legendary Kadongo Kamu singer Willy Mukabya.

She pursued comedy for nearly four years without her family’s knowledge. The Gwokute Gwobba hitmaker also shared that she was once very close to comedian Reign from the duo Maluala and Reign.

At the time, he struggled financially and often wore the same checkered shirt. Uncle Chumi recalled supporting him whenever she could.

She admitted that whenever she received money intended for her grandmother’s care, she would take some and spend it with Reign.

Beyond music and comedy, Uncle Chumi has also been involved in management. In the past, she revealed that she once managed an artiste.
