Shakib Cham Responds to Social Media Claims About Asking Women for Cash

Date:

Socialite and businessman Shakib Cham Lutaaya has spoken out about rumours suggesting he begs women for money.

The rumour flooded social media, accusing Shakib of hitting on different women with the intention of asking them for money. During a TV interview, Shakib cleared the air, saying he was broken when he first heard the allegations.

Shakib denied relying on women for survival, branding himself as a hustler and hard worker who works and looks for his own money through the numerous businesses he owns, earning enough to sponsor his lifestyle.

“It disturbed me because I’m a hustler with my personal businesses that give me money. Most Ugandan women have bad manners and are stingy, so it is hard for me to be on that level of asking them for money,” he emphasized.

He clarified on allegations that he was cheating on his wife, Zari Hassan, with numerous girls. Shakib described himself as a loyal husband with no intention of breaking his vows, as he was committed to his partner. He challenged every woman who claimed that he had ever hit on her to bring out her evidence before the public.

“First of all, I’m not a womanizer, I don’t entertain different women, and if I’m in a relationship, I commit. If there is any girl out there who claims I vibed her, please present your evidence. Right now, I’m a married man, and I don’t hit on girls. How can they come up to claim that I begged them for money?” he questioned.

Shakib revealed that some of these claims may have come up because of an imposter some time back who used to hit on women using his pictures and asking them for money. He alleges that it was solved and immediately brought to an end.
