Award-winning Ugandan gospel artist Mungu Feni is set to shake the African music scene with two major upcoming singles produced in collaboration with top Nigerian talent.
Big-Budget Collaboration Signals New Era
Feni is reportedly investing over Ugx 300 million into two highly anticipated songs titled Grace and My Story. The projects bring together a powerhouse team, including renowned video director Avon Aklope and leading producers Skerz Beatz and Fiokee. Ugandan hitmaker Nessim is also contributing to the production.
Industry insiders suggest the releases could mark a turning point for Uganda’s gospel music industry, elevating its sound to a more global standard.
Award-Winning Rise Across Africa
Feni’s momentum comes on the back of an impressive awards streak. In 2026, he secured Best New Star Gospel Artist at the Shining Stars Africa Awards 2025/2026 and Artist of the Year at the Prestigious Personalities Awards 2026.
He has also dominated regional accolades, winning West Nile Artist of the Year consecutively from 2023 to 2025 at the Royal Gospel Music Awards.
These achievements highlight his rapid ascent in just three years, positioning him as one of Africa’s fastest-rising gospel acts.
Digital Success Without Major Concerts
Despite not yet staging a major concert, Mungu Feni has built a formidable international audience. His music has surpassed 3 million streams, performing strongly across platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Audiomack.
His songs are also featured on global TV and radio networks such as Trace Gospel and TBN Africa, expanding his reach far beyond Uganda. This digital-first success has made him one of the few Ugandan artists to gain international recognition without traditional touring.
A Global Sound from West Nile
Hailing from Arua in Uganda’s West Nile region, Feni’s sound blends contemporary gospel with Afro-influenced production. His international appeal is so strong that some listeners mistake him for a West African artist.
With the upcoming Nigeria-backed projects, that global identity is expected to grow even stronger.
Beyond Music: Business and Philanthropy
Outside the studio, Mungu Feni is also an entrepreneur and the founder of Euro Gold. He balances music with philanthropy through the Mungu Feni Foundation, a regional NGO focused on community transformation.

The foundation was recognized at the East Africa Brand Quality Awards as Best Community Transformation Organisation in East Africa, and also earned multiple honors at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards 2025.
Fans Anticipate Game-Changing Releases
Feni has previously hinted at bigger projects, stating that his recent wins have motivated him to push boundaries further.
