Fik Fameica unshaken by concert clash with Jose Chameleone: I Won’t Change My Date

Date:

Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica has revealed that he is not afraid of holding a concert on the same date as Jose Chameleone.

Fik Fameica last had a concert in January of last year and was scheduled to have another one in the same month this year, but it was cancelled due to unforeseen challenges.

Just as he felt his fans were now ready for him, Fik Fameica announced that he would be back on stage on 5th September. To his surprise, Abitex announced that he is hosting Jose Chameleone’s fans in a concert celebrating the icon at Kololo Airstrip on the same date.

Fik Fameica revealed that he was shocked by the news, given that he was in communication with Chameleone about a project they were planning to work on.

Nevertheless, the rapper remains unbothered about the clash and maintains that he would not be changing his dates because of Chameleone.

Fik Fameica revealed that they have both worked hard enough and earned the support of their audiences and fans, who come through to support each of them.

Despite respecting Chameleone for being a legend and a great artist, Fik Fameica emphasized that he was not afraid of the challenge.

There is a difference between fear and respect. I respect Chameleone, but I do not fear him. I had announced my concert for close to a year, and I don’t think his sudden appearance and rescheduling of his concert on my date will shake me.

He is a legend and a great artist, but I’m not ready to withdraw from my concert just because of him. I also have my fans and my reasons for choosing that date.

I’m not scared of him because I’m also a star. In short, I’m not afraid of any artist. I may not have achieved so much, but I’m somewhere and I have built something, Fik revealed in an interview.

When asked if they had ever discussed the conflicting dates, Fik Fameica said they had never had the opportunity to talk it out because they had both been busy performing shows in different locations.
