The Uganda Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman identified as Nalubwama Caroline, aged 25, who allegedly sustained severe injuries resulting in her death.
According to the Police, before her death, Nalubwama was reportedly at Bryan White’s Kyamula, Makindye Division-based home.
Following the incident, Nalubwama was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital, but she lost the battle and was subsequently pronounced dead.
A team of detectives led by the Division CID Officer visited and examined the crime scene, documented it, and recovered relevant exhibits to aid ongoing investigations.
The body of the deceased was conveyed to the City Mortuary, Mulago, for post-mortem examination to establish the actual cause of death.
The suspect, who also reportedly sustained injuries during the alleged incident, is currently receiving medical treatment and has recorded a statement to assist in the investigations.

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, revealed that efforts are underway to retrieve available CCTV footage and interview additional witnesses to piece together the actual sequence of events.
