Muhammad Nsereko Vows To Secure Justice For Hajji Ali

Date:

Kampala Central member of parliament Hon Muhammad Nsereko has spoken about the ongoing sexual assault case in which Hajji Mwizera Ali is being accused by his wife Hajjat Zula of molesting their daughter Nisha.

He said that women are always fighting for justice, however, they are not always the right ones. This time around, men also want justice.

This case started with Hajjat Zula having an interview with Ruth Kalibala and saying that she is depressed because of her family. She explained that she got married to Hajji Ali but came with a daughter from her previous marriage. The marriage didn’t go well as the husband started assaulting the young daughter and telling her to stay quiet.

Ugandans immediately reacted which forced her to go to police and file a case against Hajji. With this case involving a minor, Police arrested Hajj immediately.

Yesterday was the first time they appeared in court. The Hajjat has been complaining that people are starting to take sides and branding her as the bad person yet she is telling the truth. According to Muhammad Nsereko, no one is threatening or taking sides when it comes to the case. However, he thinks that Hajji Ali also has the right to seek justice like Hajjat Zula.

“No one is threatening Hajjat, she has the right to seek justice, but we also want Hajji to receive justice,” he said.
