While giving the welcoming remarks on behalf of Kampala University, Dr. Waldah M. Rajab Gyagenda, Deputy Vice Chancellor recognized guests and scholars to Kampala University and thanked the relations with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He commended the resilience of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for championing the international Quds Day way back till now. Many women and children are being massacred everyday by Israel and its allies who are not respecting international law amidst condemnation from many countries.

On speaking, Hon. Issah Katungulu Luyimbaazi gave an overview that Quds Day (lit. ‘Jerusalem Day’), officially known as International Quds Day (Persian: روز جهانی قدس: Ruz Jahâni Quds), is an annual pro-Palestinian event held on the last Friday of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan to express support for Palestinians and oppose Israel and Zionism.
He said that the city of Jerusalem is holy to all three monotheistic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Imam Khomeini established Quds Day in 1979 shortly after the Iranian Revolution to show solidarity with Palestinians and reject Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem. It has since become a symbol of resistance.
Quds day has now turned into a symbol of the unity of the entirety of humanity. Free thinkers usually condemn the United States and Western states for lending support to Israel in its war on Gaza.
Prof. Adam Sebyala Al-maliky, the academic professor and president of Uganda Shia Ithna Ashari Muslim Community spoke on the INTRACTABLE PROBLEM OF PALESTINE.
He noted this is a land where nations had settled peacefully; not until when Abraham born in Ur ( Iraq) was received well by the peaceful inhabitants for resettlement after getting into troubles with his fellow natives.
His emigration to a promised land was misconstrued by the Jews to have sole ownership of such a land which is false because in all his wanderings in lands of Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Arabian peninsular prophet Ibrahim (a.s) found settled communities in them; there were no empty lands for such exclusivity, and he never believed in such.
His sons and 1st grandchildren settled in lands (Mecca and Palestine) as newcomers without any discrimination by the natives of the land.
Even when they left for Egypt, it was caused by their internal immoral problems when brothers of Yusuf turned into wolves against him and incriminated an innocent dog (we call False- flags; the dog of Yusuf).
تركنا يوسف عند متاعنا فأكله الذئب
In Egypt we practically see Yusuf occupying a high office in the land that enabled him to relocate the brothers; his would be killers!
Problems in Egypt, the Exodus and the Promised land
For arguments sake, Muslim Academicians have one version of the story of the Exodus that is provided by the opponents of Pharaoh, Egyptologists have not yet given the Pharaohs story for a balanced judgement…
The Exclusivity in the promised land;
Who gives them the land (God); but God spoke to all nations. And God spoke to others ( Muslims in the Quran ) about their former status and class that was withdrawn….due to their continued sinning. They even boasted of killing JB and Jesus.
(إنا قتلنا المسيح ابن مريم)
And when Moses led the Jews out of Egypt the said promised land had its own people whom they had to fight (Ma’edah: 24; Oh Moses, therein are giant peopleقوما جبارين we cannot get in until they vacate it.
لن ندخلها حتى يخرجوا منها
This ethic cleansing is the mentality of the people who don’t want to live with others.
And in line with that ( read the book of Joshua (chapter ) 8: 1—45 that recorded the complete massacre of the entire people of AI and other dozen towns.
It’s God of Israel, other Nations are Sub- humans
Judaism is an ethnical religion and is not preached to others (The gentiles). God of Israel has no interest in the Gentiles (الأميين)
Stealing property or grabbing land of the Gentiles is not a sin blamed by God of Israel
ليس علينا في الأميين سبيل…..
In line with that, Dr. Haaretz wrote to the British office of colonial territories that ( The Jews are the people without land, and Palestine is the land without people). I didn’t understand this until the Israeli political and military leadership commanded the army to annihilate the Palestinian children, women and men who are simply created in human forms but in reality are animals.
Who is to blame for the Genocide in Palestine?
Silence of 2bn Muslims , and their lack of prioritization and focus.
The divine judgment puts the blame on the 2bn Muslims who have decided not to utilize the powers and resources they have.

Dr. Hadi Assadi, lecturer at Al-Mustafa Islamic College Kyengera shared about the historical reports of the holy prophet for not segregating anyone in his life and noted that Muslims should do better than just fulfilment of Islamic obligations but also social obligations.
He quoted prophet that whoever wakes up without being concerned about the affairs of other Muslims is not a good Muslim. How can one neglect the Palestinian cause after watching what is going on in daylight? It’s a cardinal duty of every Muslim faithfuls and free thinkers.
Dr. Hamza Kyeyune, media personality asked participants for how much is enough after losing alot of lives, destruction of schools, hospitals mention them.
He noted that Iran suffered alot just after the Islamic Revolution in Iran from its immediate neighbours in Iraq and it relied on the almighty Allah who granted it favours and strength to defend its country from its enemies.
Sister Aite shamlah from Al-Mustafa Islamic College rallied participants to stop consuming all Israel products to safocate them economically and isolate their companies.
The Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan recognised the charismatic leadership of Imam Khomeini for declaring the international Quds Day to show solidarity with oppressed Palestinian people and as the government of Sudan, we have been supporting the Palestinian people since 1950s.
He reported that the Republic of Sudan is at unrest with rebel attacks supported by some Muslim countries to weaken the government and stop supporting Palestinian people.
He called upon Muslims to continue supporting the Palestinian people until when they regain their sovereignty and peace.
Dr. Rouhollah Dehghani the principal of Al-mustafa Islamic College Kyengera noted that struggle of Karbala should be the message to drive free thinkers towards spirituality, solidarity and love to the oppressed nations including Palestine among others.
Mr. Abdollah Abbasi the Iranian Cultural Counselor noted that Quds Day is the best time to reflect on the oppressed Palestinian people by the tyrannical western countries who are supporting the child killing regime of Israel who are trying to achieve their political goals and selling military equipment.
He noted that the barbaric actions of the zionist regime not only affect the Palestinian people but also other Middle East countries among others.
He informed participants about the attacks on schools, hospitals, Diplomatic missions are only part of their crimes against humanity and international law.
He rallied participants to always show solidarity and empathy to the Palestinian people as declared by Imam Khomeini as it is inherent to every Muslim faithful and other religious people in the world.

He appreciated the axis of resistance for standing against the atrocities of the Zionist regime.
Associate Prof. Dr. Nabukeera Madinah Sebyala, the Director of Islamic University in Uganda, Females campus who recognised the charismatic leadership of Imam Khomeini who declared this important event on the last Friday during the Islamic month of Ramadhan.
H.E. Mr. Majid Saffar, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran recognised invited guests to the international Quds Day event at Kampala University. He called upon participants to always go one step forward in defence of Palestine.
He noted that it was a Great honor to be part of the people who want to remind the world about the defending the rights of people under oppression coupled with loss of land, siege, denial of rights to enjoy their sovereignty and peace.
Palestine is not an issue for only Muslims but humanity for all servants of God regardless of backgrounds. Condemnation alone is not enough but followed by boycott, sanctions, and judicial actions. We must continue to educate and raise awareness to our children and youth about the ongoing injustices and insurgencies in the Middle East countries.
