St. Paul’s Seminary Rushoroza has officially launched the construction of a two-story multi-purpose administration block, a major infrastructure project aimed at addressing long-standing office space shortages. The project is estimated to cost 1.52 billion Ugandan shillings.
The construction contract has been awarded to Archcivil Contractors and Builders Limited, under the leadership of Director Anatoli Mucunguzi.

The planned structure will include 11 offices, 6 washrooms, and a staff room on the ground floor, while the first floor will accommodate a main hall, boardroom, and an additional 6 washrooms. The foundation phase is expected to last four months, after which the rest of the structure will be completed.
According to seminary officials, sufficient funding is already in place for the foundation works. The institution plans to mobilize additional funds during St. Paul’s Day celebrations to ensure completion of the project.

The groundbreaking ceremony was officiated by Msgr. John Vianney Sunday, the Vicar General of Kabale Diocese and Chairperson of the Seminary Advisory Board.
Speaking at the event, Msgr. Sunday highlighted the importance of the new building in improving the seminary’s operations, saying it will offer dedicated space for administrative functions, examinations, and board meetings.
Rev. Fr. Tumushime Augustine, Rector of St. Paul’s Seminary, expressed heartfelt gratitude to God, Bishop Callist Rubaramira, and the many well-wishers who have supported the initiative.
