Ray Signature Defends Mentor Sylver Kyagulanyi Against Claims of Being Difficult to Work With

Date:

Musician and songwriter Ray Signature has spoken out against allegations that veteran musician Sylver Kyagulanyi is challenging to work with.

Ray Signature confessed to being stubborn and unruly during his school days, leading to his expulsion from over 10 schools in 6 years.

He had a passion for pursuing music, and at the start of his career, he crossed paths with Sylver Kyagulanyi, who was rumoured to be strict and complicated to work with. Their connection, however, worked out well, leaving everyone confused and wondering how they connected.

Speaking to Galaxy FM, Ray Signature revealed that by the time he met the ‘obujulizi’ hitmaker, he had put his life in order and was determined to pursue music as a career. He noted that he always humbled himself before him to avoid collision.

I was on my best behaviour because I knew what I wanted.  I had to do anything to please him. But he is not as hard as people claim because I have been with him almost all my life.

Contrary to claims, Ray Signature noted that Sylver Kyagulanyi was simply a principled man who wanted things done a certain way.

I have been with him all my life until now. It is not that he liked me, but most people talk because they hear stories. Some things are true, but one thing people confuse is principle. He is so principled.  That is why I’m good at keeping time: he taught us all those things, and we’ve carried them with us throughout our lives. That is how we have made it this far,” he said as he confirmed that they were still working together.
