National Medical Stores (NMS) Chief Procurement Officer, Alfred Natamba, has left his wife and mother of his children at their marital home in Bwebajja, Entebbe road, to marry his young lover. The dramatic turn of events has left the family reeling in shock.
The lover- now new wife- is identified only as Allen.
Sources close to the family reveal that Natamba was introduced in a traditional marriage ceremony to Allen’s family in Rushere, Kiruhura district, western Uganda, mid last month. Since then, he’s splurged on his new flame, buying her a posh Shs1 billion house in Bwebajja, a beautiful family home in Rushere, a brand new Land Cruiser, and a Mercedes Bluetech.
The posh Shs1b house is located in his older wife’s neighbourhood.
A close pal told us: “Alfie (Alfred Natamba) is clearly smitten with Allen. She’s got everything he’s always wanted in a woman.”
“He wishes he had met her much earlier. He would have her enjoyed her more in this life,” the pal added.
Another close friend tells us Natamba is willing to go the distance for Allen.
“He’s started a multi million business venture for her in Kampala. He wants the best for her and will do everything it takes to make this a reality,” this friend told us.
The sudden development has come as a major blow to Natamba’s wife and children, who are struggling to come to terms with the betrayal. “His wife always stood with him. She still can’t believe he would do this to her,” a family source said.
Natamba’s friends, however, aren’t surprised by his actions, also citing his history of generosity and lavish spending.
The friends describe him as “supremely wealthy” and “quite generous with his money”.
“His generosity knows no bounds. He’s contributed Shs50 million to more than five of his friends’ weddings in less than a year. Now imagine what he’s willing to do for Allen, a woman he loves more than anything else in the world,” a close friend said.

Apart from his juicy and influential NMS procurement role, we hear Natamba has various businesses within the country. He owns a ‘hill’ in Bwebajja, has vast property in Kira, a square mile of land in Kakumiro district in Bunyoro and several buildings in Kampala.
He is also into the tea business among others.
His garage isn’t shabby either. His car portfolio is valued at a whopping shs5 billion and includes; a Jeep, Lexus, a Cross Country, Range Rover among others.
Clearly, Allen is in things!
