For several years, Sammy Okanya has been grappling with several health challenges that have seen him confined to hospital beds.
Amid the health challenges, Sammy found it difficult to foot the hospital bills, prompting him to run to different well-wishers for help.
His pleas, however, in various situations have been met with mixed reactions, with many dismissing them as insincere and attempts to gain public sympathy.
Despite the criticism, Lil Pazo came forward and offered a helping hand, checking the comedian into Bombo Hospital, where he received the necessary treatment.
As the health challenges persisted, Sammy underwent a successful medical surgery on Monday, 21 July 2025, to overcome challenges linked to his bladder.
