Talent manager and outgoing Bukomansimbi South Constituency Member of Parliament, Kayemba Geofrey Solomon, has explained Rema Namakula’s continuous absence from the public eye, which he says is good for her brand.
Rema Namakula is one of the few artists who rarely make public appearances. She is known to only show up to concerts in support of her favorite artist. Kayemba Solo, during an interview, explained the reason behind it, noting that it was intentional because they wanted to preserve her value.
He argued that constant appearances of an artist in every place reduce their appeal, especially before the fans who may have had a chance to see them at random places.
“Any artist is supposed to make appearances where need be, but not be everywhere in people’s faces. When you show up at everything, the demand will be so low. She only needs to show up in the places where she is supposed to, and that is where her value lies.
She is not supposed to be in irrelevant places where she is not needed, and we do not have that demand right now. We will show up when it is necessary,” Kayemba Solo explained.
