Man Sets Himself On Fire Just Next To Parliament

Date:

Panic erupted near the entrance of Parliament when a man, identified as Benjamin Agaba, set himself on fire in an apparent act of protest. The shocking incident was captured on video and shared by NTV.

According to reports, Agaba claimed that he had been abandoned by the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), despite repeatedly seeking assistance. He alleged that his property had been vandalized by supporters of the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP), leaving his father homeless due to their political affiliation. After spending a year pleading for help at NRM offices without success, Agaba resorted to the desperate act.

Fortunately, police officers at the scene acted swiftly, extinguishing the flames and rushing him to the hospital for urgent medical attention. His current condition remains unclear.

This is a developing story, and updates will follow as more details emerge.
