JOHANNESBURG — Le Club Marketing Avis+, the pan-regional marketing community developed by PVRM (Plus Value Research and Marketing), formally joined the African Marketing Confederation as its first associate member. The accession agreement was signed in Johannesburg on Friday, Nov. 28.

The move marks a notable expansion of the Confederation’s continental representation, immediately adding eight new member countries to the network and bringing the African Marketing Confederation’s total country count to 24.

The Avis+ community includes more than 500 marketing leaders from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Senegal and Togo. Since 2019, it has built a platform for knowledge exchange, promoting collaboration and regional expertise in modern marketing.

African Marketing Confederation President Helen McIntee-Carlisle welcomed the new partnership, noting that the addition of Le Club Marketing Avis+ expands the Confederation’s influence and reinforces its mission to raise marketing standards across the continent.

The new associate membership is expected to strengthen the African Marketing Confederation’s reach across West and Central Africa. The partnership will also enhance the visibility of Avis+ members, strengthen collaboration and provide new channels for expertise developed within its community.

Le Club Marketing Avis+ focuses on empowering marketing leaders through activities including training sessions, seminars and its flagship #THINK gathering, all designed to support professional growth and foster cross-border dialogue.
