Konshens Faces Backlash Over Remix of Joshua Baraka’s Hit ‘Wrong Places’

Date:

Jamaican dancehall superstar Konshens sparked a huge debate on X after announcing that he had made a remix of Joshua Baraka’s famous single ‘Wrong Places’.

Taking to his official account, Konshens teased a video showing him chilling in his home studio. He sampled his version of the opening verse to the song, asking Ugandans to rate him.

Despite his huge fanbase in Uganda, the result did not please them, going by the comments left behind.

Many noted how his version was a completely different one and didn’t complement Joshua Baraka’s original song.

A section of netizens, however, didn’t care about the result but only the fact that the song was being promoted.
