Kabale-Kigata High School has proudly announced the launch of its alumni association, known as the Kigata High School Old Students Association (KIHISOSA), marking a significant milestone in the school’s history unveiling an ambitious initiative worth 40 million shillings aimed at furnishing the school’s main hall, addressing the pressing need for adequate furniture to accommodate the growing student population and standardize the school.

Syson Mwebaze Rukeijakare, Chairperson of Kigata High School Old Students Association (KIHISOSA), emphasized the importance of this project, noting that the increasing number of students has highlighted the urgent requirement for improved facilities explaining that their goal is to ensure that every student at Kigata High School has access to a conducive learning environment where the launch is targeting to buy 400 sits into the school main hall.

Rukeijakare stated. “This initiative is just the beginning of our commitment to supporting the school and enhancing educational standards.”

The launch event was graced by Levic Mucunguzi Kagoro, President of the Lions Club of Kabale, who served as the Chief Guest and commended the efforts of the old students, acknowledging their dedication to uplifting the school’s infrastructure and overall educational experience saying that Such developmental moves are crucial in standardizing education and ensuring that Kigata High School remains a beacon of excellence asking other schools establish associations as one way of motivating the following students but also spearhead others developmental activities in their schools.
