Inaugural Gem Connect Event Brings Content Creators and Brands Together in Kampala – Xclusive UG.

Date:

Social Gems, a leading creative and digital media hub, as well as an influencer marketplace, successfully hosted the inaugural Gem Connect, an exclusive networking and experiential event designed to bring together content creators, influencers, brands, and digital enthusiasts.

The maiden edition took the form of a vibrant Paint & Sip experience at Social Gems’ offices in Bugolobi. Content creators spent the afternoon immersed in creativity, conversation, and collaboration, alongside some of Uganda’s most innovative storytellers and forward-looking brands.

Themed “The Power of Community,” the event explored how Social Gems is building a supportive ecosystem where creators and brands can learn, grow, and thrive together. With Uganda’s digital media space rapidly evolving—and Social Gems gradually expanding to Kenya, the UK, and beyond—the initiative underscored the importance of authentic connections and shared growth.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at Social Gems. Gem Connect is our way of celebrating creators while equipping them with the tools, opportunities, and partnerships they need to succeed,” said Bernard Ewalu Olupot, Project Lead at Social Gems.

Through events like Gem Connect, Social Gems continues to position itself not just as an influencer marketplace, but as a vibrant hub for creativity, collaboration, and digital growth.
