I Pray It Never Happens – Sammie on Splitting From Shawa

Date:

Comedian Sammie has opened up about the nightmares of their “Sammie and Shawa” duo coming to an end, saying it would affect them greatly.

As it is common for duos to pursue solo careers, Sammie, during a recent TV interview, was asked about his life and career if they ever decided to part ways. The comedian quickly dismissed the question, explaining that separating would only pull them back instead of elevating their careers.

Shawa noted that they built their brand as a duo for this long through hard work, and they valued their bond deeply. He explained that they had achieved a lot together and were used to working together.

Going their separate ways, however, meant they each had to start from scratch again, which is not easy because it would take a long time to get back on track.

“Splitting and going our separate ways can affect us greatly because we built this brand as Sammie and Shawa. If we split, I could easily miss the person I have been working with because we have been handling everything together.  If I start working alone, it means I will have to rebuild the brand the same way we built it together. This can take a lot of time for me to achieve,” Sammie said.

Sammie prayed that they never get to that point in their career; “This can easily drag us back, and I pray it never happens; we do not even hope for it to happen ever,” Sammie said.
