Ugandan singer Maureen Peace Namugonza, known as Ava Peace, has clarified that financial stability is a non-negotiable requirement for any potential suitor. In a recent media interview, she discussed her views on relationships, emphasizing that she would not compromise her music career for love.

When asked about dating someone in the same industry, Ava Peace highlighted that the success of a relationship hinges more on a mutual understanding of values and lifestyles than on shared professions.

She acknowledged the challenges of dating outside the music industry, particularly due to the demanding schedules and late nights that come with her career. “Many men struggle to accept that,” she noted.

Ava Peace firmly stated that she would never quit music for a relationship, declaring, “If a man ever tried to make me choose between the two, I would walk away without a second thought.”

She further elaborated on her expectations from potential partners, insisting that they should be financially stable. “If I tell my partner about a project requiring $3,000 and he says he does not have it, we will not be able to connect,” she explained.
