Musician Green Daddy has accused media personality Jacob Omutuuze of using him to wage a feud against Eddy Kenzo.
Recently, Green Daddy lost his first child shortly after birth. Frustrated and grieving, he went live on TikTok, calling out the staff at Mulago Hospital for alleged negligence.
Jacob Omutuuze was among the few people who attended the vigil, and he questioned why other artists, whom Green Daddy had referred to as friends, had not shown up.
He specifically mentioned Eddy Kenzo, prompting Green Daddy to show him WhatsApp messages from the UNMF president, in which Kenzo appeared upset over Green Daddy’s public comments.
Kenzo had not attended the vigil, and Jacob assumed he was angry about the live broadcast and had deliberately stayed away. Green Daddy claims that Jacob used this private conversation during a YouTube interview, twisting the information to fuel his own conflict with Kenzo.
“Jacob came to the vigil of my child and cornered me, pointing out that I had called many artist friends, but they didn’t show up. I explained that my live broadcast had upset Eddy Kenzo and even showed him Kenzo’s messages. I clarified that maybe Kenzo wasn’t there simply because he was busy, not because of anger,” Green Daddy said.

He continued: “I thought I was speaking to him as a friend, but he twisted the information I shared to attack Kenzo. I wasn’t happy about it, but we are human. I hold no personal grudge against him, even though he used that private information to fight his battles.”
Following the leak of their private chat, Green Daddy reached out to Eddy Kenzo and apologized for Jacob’s on-air comments. He emphasized that there is no bad blood between him and Kenzo, confirming that their friendship remains intact. While expressing disappointment in Jacob’s actions, he noted that he has forgiven him.
