CAF Approves FUFA’s Request To Add Special Logo On Uganda Cranes’ Jersey

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved Federation of Uganda Football Association’s (FUFA) request the use of a special logo on the Uganda Cranes jersey in the bid to celebrate FUFA’s 100th anniversary.

FUFA wrote to CAF asking for permission to put the logo on the Uganda Cranes jerseys, as FUFA celebrates its 100 years of leading Ugandan football.

FUFA spokesperson Ahmed Hussein said the logo will be placed on the chest of all players’ jerseys, starting with the Uganda Cranes’ match against South Sudan tomorrow on October 11,2024 at Namboole in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ahmed Hussein said the logo will be used for all the remaining matches of the Uganda Cranes in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers only.

The FUFA 100th Anniversary logo was presented by its president, Eng. Moses Magogo at the association’s general assembly held at Maya Natural Resort on October 4th, 2024.
