Uganda Cranes Squad

Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put has unveiled a 28-man squad set to feature in two high-profile international friendlies against Cameroon and Gambia, scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Morocco.

The Cranes will lock horns with continental heavyweights Cameroon on Friday, 6th June, followed by a clash against The Gambia on Monday, 9th June 2025.

The squad features a balanced mix of local and international talent, with 12 players drawn from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and 16 plying their trade abroad, underlining a strategic blend of domestic development and global experience.

Local-based players and team officials will assemble at FUFA House in Mengo on Monday, 2nd June 2025 at 12:00 PM, before traveling to Morocco later that day. Meanwhile, foreign-based players will join the team directly in Marrakech.

Match Schedule:

Friday, 6th June 2025: Cameroon vs Uganda – Kick-off at 20:00HRS (10:00 PM EAT)

Monday, 9th June 2025: Uganda vs Gambia – Kick-off at 16:00HRS (6:00 PM EAT)
