Bebe Cool Says His Next Music Album Could Be His Last, Names Dream Collaborators

Date:

Gagamel International boss and singer Bebe Cool has hinted at the possibility of releasing his very last music album, listing the artists he would love to feature.

Bebe Cool, in a recent exclusive interview, was asked to name the artists he would like to work with on a project, naming Swangz Avenue’s Elijah Kitaka, Vinka, Winie Nwagi, Azawi, Cindy Sanyu, and Juliana Kanyomozi.

He further stressed that his music album in the pipeline marks his last album, and he wishes he could have all the mentioned stars featured on it.

“I have a list of people I want to work with, and I just want to work with them on my next album. Actually, it might be my closure album-wise. I want it to be organized that way,” he said.

Bebe Cool’s revelation, however, didn’t mean he would be quitting music for good. He explained that he just didn’t want to brand himself as an artist who survived on collaborations to build his career. This is why he has majored in singles for most of his projects.

“Because I refused to brand myself as an artist who survives on collaborations. That is why I keep releasing my singles, because I know the power of an artist depends on the singles. Every time you make a collaboration, that power is shared. So if in your career you depend on other people to make it, then it is different,” he mentioned.
