Date:

Music lovers in Kampala can start counting down to a vibrant night of rhythm and culture after Talent Africa Group announced ticket prices for the upcoming Roots & Vibes Afro-Caribbean Concert, scheduled for May 2.

Organised in partnership with Abeeka Band, the concert promises a colourful fusion of Afro-Caribbean sounds, bringing together reggae, soca, Afro-roots and dancehall for what organisers describe as an immersive cultural celebration.

Ordinary tickets will go for UGX 50,000, while VIP tables are priced at UGX 3,000,000, offering guests a premium concert experience.

At the heart of the event will be a high-energy performance from Abeeka Band, East Africa’s fast-rising boy band known for their electrifying stage presence and youthful sound.

The group made up of Pages, Kevin, Michael, Producer Allan and Dr. Tre has steadily built a loyal following thanks to a musical style that blends Afro-pop, R&B and contemporary rhythms.

Organisers say the concept behind Roots & Vibes Live in Kampala is to create a live-performance-driven concert that focuses on musical excellence while also celebrating cultural storytelling through sound.

“This is not just another concert. It is designed as an intimate but high-impact experience where audiences can feel the rhythm, culture and energy of Afro-Caribbean music,” organisers said.

The show also reflects Kampala’s growing reputation as a destination for international-standard music events, with promoters increasingly curating themed experiences that bring together diverse musical traditions.

With the promise of infectious rhythms, live instrumentation and a lively atmosphere, Roots & Vibes is expected to draw music lovers, creatives and cultural enthusiasts from across the region.
