Socialite Zari Hassan has addressed reports surrounding her husband, Shakib Cham, and businessman Boss Mutoto alias Williams Bugeme.
Towards the end of 2025, on 27th December, Shakib Cham and his gang allegedly stormed Boss Mutoto’s bar in Munyonyo, where they assaulted victims, vandalized property, and made off with money and people’s phones.
A police case was subsequently filed at Kabalagala Police Station, and investigators visited the scene before Shakib was requested to appear before authorities to record a statement.
Amid the investigations, Zari Hassan, in an audio, detailed what sparked the saga, saying people with covetous motives influenced it.
According to Zari, a mutual friend of both Boss Mutoto and Shakib, approached Shakib to help mediate their differences. However, upon their arrival at Boss Mutoto’s bar, the same mutual friend allegedly instigated the fight.
Zari, however, is confident that Shakib and Boss Mutoto will work out their differences, saying she has been working tirelessly to restore peace.

She further dismissed rumours linking her romantically to Boss Mutoto, clarifying that they are relatives and that he has never at any point suggested an affair.
