Zari Hassan Denies Viral Cheating Screenshot Involving Husband Shakib Cham, Threatens Legal Action

Date:

Socialite and South African-based businesswoman Zaro Hassan has addressed the viral screenshot about her marriage, threatening to sue the parties behind the rumours.

In the screenshot making rounds online with Zari’s Facebook account name, it says she trusted her husband with everything, but one time when she wanted to surprise him, she allegedly found him with another woman in their marital bed. The screenshot reveals that her heart was shattered, and she couldn’t believe that their union was built on lies.

Talking to her Snapchat followers, Zari revealed she got the news from a friend on WhatsApp, who shared a screenshot with her, asking whether the rumour was true.

She denied the allegations, revealing that the image was photoshopped and adding her handle to it to make it look like she was the one behind the post.

“It shows you how far people can go to make up stories about you. That is how far AI has gone: a person can create a screenshot that looks like it was created on my page. I have seen videos in which AI puts words into my mouth.

Zari revealed that the rumour was being spread by malicious people looking for likes and followers on their pages. She cautioned her fans against believing the rumours spread about her online and asked them to treat them with the contempt they deserved.

“That is not true, and I haven’t released such a statement. Just be careful about what you believe in because people are so sick in the name of wanting likes. We live in a world of miserable and sad people who are so invested in people’s lives. They want to see whether we have broken up or if we no longer post our partners. Why are you so invested if I post him or not? It’s like you don’t have a life to monitor mine. Says a lot about your character than me, you are accusing me of things,” Zari Hassan said.

Zari further warned bloggers, TikTokers, and YouTubers that she would sue anyone who spread false information about her online.

“There are cyber laws that govern such nonsense these days. You are ruining lives. Next time you make a statement about me, make sure you have evidence. You will have to account for it because I’m tired of coming out to explain myself,” Zari said.
