Ykee Benda Opens Up on Horrific Accident That Nearly Claimed His Life and Family

Date:

Musician Ykee Benda has narrated the terrible accident that befell him while he was driving his entire family from a party.

In 2021, during a birthday celebration, a group of friends surprised him with a party, inviting his baby mama. Without hesitation, they drove to Namugongo even when he was fatigued from the previous night’s festivities.

Ykee Benda revealed that as the party went on, he took some alcohol but decided to leave the venue earlier because he was with his family. While driving his Mark X, he started dozing at the steering wheel, influenced by fatigue.

He lost control and was woken up by his baby mama’s tap, warning him about how they were crashing into someone’s fence. Out of panic, Ykee Benda applied more power to the wheels instead of braking. They ended up crashing into the wall and the house.

Ykee Benda made the confessions to Apostle Nalebo during his episode of ‘Faith Unfiltered’ on the Millennials Of Christ channel. He couldn’t help but thank God, whom he says saved their lives, even when they weren’t wearing seat belts.

That I got a cut on the eyebrow whose scar I still have till date. Mummy Dante and Dante were not wearing their seatbelts but they never got any injuries. The baby was very okay. Up to now, I just thank God for their lives,” he said.
