Musician Weasel Manizo has dismissed any hopes of finding a new music partner to replace his fallen working partner and friend, Radio Mowzey.
During his interview, Weasel revealed that he had already been active in the industry, selling cassettes to Kasiwukira Productions before they started Goodlyfe.
On one occasion, veteran musician and talent manager Chagga Godffrey introduced Radio to them as an artist who had painted Jose Chameleone’s picture before they realized that he could actually sing.
Jose Chameleone gave him a chance, and together with Weasel, they formed the Goodlyfe crew, becoming one of the best duos in the country.
When Radio suddenly passed away, the public expected him to rebuild his career afresh and maybe look for another artist to partner up with and bounce back as a duo.

Weasel, born Douglas Mayanja, dismissed their expectations, saying teaming up with someone was more of a bond than just music.
“People keep asking why I do not sing with someone else; they don’t know that you don’t just wake up and do this. Even if it is a collaboration, there is supposed to be a mutual feeling, chemistry that can get you bonding before the song kicks off. For Radio and me, it was meant to be,” Weasel said.
