The Wakiso District Cartographer has been apprehended for allegedly forging a court order to evict his wife from their marital home in Kitala zone, Katabi Town Council, Wakiso district.
Julius Amika was arrested on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 on orders of Wakiso District Resident District Commissioner, Justine Mbabazi.
The eviction he wanted to conduct had previously been stopped by Entebbe RDC Hakim Kirigwa ,who advised him to first obtain proper court documents for the eviction to occur without any interferences.
According to RDC Mbabazi, the accused will face charges of possession of fake court order and assault.
Last year on April 24,2024 , the High court Family Division issued a court order stopping Amika, his agents or his representatives from interfering with the said family property, but since then Amika and his agents have defied court and deliberately went on to frequent the premises as they threaten to kick out Nanfuka on the disputed family property.
The Family Court also ordered Amika to provide monthly upkeep for his children, including UGX 100,000 for electricity, UGX 100,000 for water, UGX 160,000 for gas/charcoal, UGX 500,000 for food, UGX 210,000 for clothing, and UGX 400,000 for medical bills. However, Nanfuka alleges that Amika has never fulfilled most of these obligations, apart from paying school fees for his children.
Nanfuka claims that she is currently living under threats from Amika, and that at one point he beat her up in front of her children which prompted her to drag him to Entebbe police for safety of her dear life.
Nanfuka revealed that two weeks ago, some unknown armed goons who were armed to the teeth broke into her home and made away with some valuable property including her phone.
Meanwhile, Nanfuka informed RDC Mbabazi that it’s on record that Amika gave her plus her children the said home in 2016 in appreciation for being a good mother and entertaining him in bed for over a decade.
