Veteran DJ Rachael Battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer, Dismisses Death Rumours

Date:

Renowned veteran Ugandan, US-based female DJ, businesswoman, and artist Rachael Kungu is battling stage four lung cancer.

DJ Racheal started her deejaying career in 1995, gaining significant recognition that saw her showcase her skills at clubs like Club Pulsations and Club Silk, where she worked for eight years.

Her exceptional deejaying skills not only lit up the nightlife but also sold her brand beyond the Ugandan borders, hence acquiring deejaying opportunities at Club Florida 2000 and Club Carnival, both in Nairobi and Stone Club in Mwanza.

With a career spanning over 25 years, DJ Racheal relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she not only branched into music production but also began advocating for women’s rights.

Unfortunately, DJ Racheal experienced significant health challenges after being diagnosed with lung cancer, which has now transitioned into stage four.

Rachael has since launched a GoFundMe platform with a goal of over USD 32,000 to raise money for her medical treatment.
