UMSC Management Committee Endorses Proposed Kiryandongo Housing Units

The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) National Management Committee, in its Tuesday meeting, approved a proposal by the Kiryandongo Muslim District Council to construct housing units cost at Ugx 600 Million shillings as a revenue-generating initiative to support Islamic activities. The proposal will be forwarded to the National Executive Committee for approval, as outlined in the UMSC Constitution.


Chaired by His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda, the meeting also approved the 2025 Almanac, a publication outlining UMSC activities and events for the year, drawn by the Department for Planning & Development.


Mufti Mubaje further presented a newly recovered land title for prime property in Kampala.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Ali Waiswa, Deputy Mufti; His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Hafidh Muhammad Harunah Bukenya, 2nd Deputy Mufti; and UMSC departmental heads.
