Uganda’s High Commissioner, Willy Mutenza Strategize Ahead of UK–Africa Business Summit

H.E. Nimisha Madhvani, Uganda’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, met with Willy Mutenza to plan ahead of the upcoming UK–Africa Business, Trade & Investment Summit and the UK–Uganda Convention set for this September.

The meeting focused on aligning efforts to promote Uganda’s priority sectors under the ATMS agenda: Agriculture, Tourism, Manufacturing, and Science & Technology. These pillars, recently highlighted by Dr. Ramathan Ggoobi during his investor engagements in London, are seen as key drivers of Uganda’s economic transformation.

Both parties reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in unlocking new opportunities and supporting Uganda’s development. The session marked a step forward in strengthening UK–Uganda ties ahead of the September summit.
