Ugandan social media personality and TikTok star Shani Lips has become the latest victim of a privacy breach after private videos featuring her in intimate moments with another woman were leaked online over the weekend.
The footage, which shows the influencer in a deeply personal and romantic moment with another woman, has ignited widespread conversation, sparking both outrage and concern among fans and critics alike.
The videos, which began making rounds on Saturday night, quickly went viral across various social media platforms, including WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), and Telegram. The content, which includes nude visuals and affectionate interaction between the two women, appears to have been recorded in a private setting. It remains unclear how the footage was leaked or who was behind its release.
Shani Lips, whose real name has been kept under wraps, is a well-known figure on Ugandan TikTok, with a growing fan base that admires her for her bold personality, unique sense of fashion, and unapologetic attitude. With over 200,000 followers and counting, she has become one of the most talked-about digital influencers in the country, particularly among young Ugandans who view her as a symbol of freedom and self-expression.
Known for her lip-sync videos, lifestyle skits, and candid commentary on beauty and relationships, Shani has always been seen as a boundary-pusher. However, her recent rise in fame has now taken a turn many did not expect.
