The incident, which occurred in the early morning hours, sent shockwaves through the community. Villagers began searching when the children failed to return home, only to discover their lifeless bodies in the nearby pond.

Grief quickly turned to frustration as residents criticized what they said was a delayed police response. Locals claim they were forced to recover the bodies themselves due to the authorities’ slow arrival.

While mourning the tragedy, some community members blamed the parents for failing to supervise their children, calling it a preventable act of negligence. Others emphasized the need for greater public awareness about child safety, especially in areas with hazardous open water sources.

The incident has sparked renewed calls for improved emergency response systems in rural areas and heightened parental vigilance to prevent future accidents. Local leaders have promised a full investigation and pledged to collaborate with law enforcement and families to enhance child protection measures.
