Temperature Touch Accuses Green Daddy of Copyrighting His Viral Song ‘My Date’ Without Pay

Date:

Songwriter and musician Temperature Touch has spoken out about how Green Daddy took over his song without paying a penny.

Temperature Touch did his song ‘My Date’ which trended on social media, birthing thousands of challenges. Green Daddy liked it and suggested adding a verse. After begging him for close to three weeks, Temperature Touch agreed and let him have a verse at no cost.

Since the song had gone viral on TikTok, he removed all the copyright protections to accommodate Green Daddy, but it was the biggest mistake of his life. Green Daddy, instead, copyrighted the song without his permission, and all the videos fans had made vibing to it were banned and taken down.

“I left everything to Allah. He asked me for a song, and I gave him a verse for free. But he went ahead and put a copyright on it, and they banned all the videos I had put up.

What he did was terrible, yet I had been good to him. I had just written Buwoomi for him, which went viral, and he pleaded with me to include a verse in my song. He begged me for over three weeks for a chance, then I agreed. When I did, I removed my TikTok restrictions on the song because I didn’t want him to get banned. But instead, he copyrighted it after getting his verse, and they pulled down my videos. In short, he stole my song,” he said.
