NAIROBI, Kenya — Swiss-Belhotel International has signed a management agreement with Albushra Real Estate Limited to launch The Gama by Swiss-Belhotel in Nairobi, marking the global debut of the group’s newest brand.

The property is located in the Kilimani district and is scheduled to open within the next 12 months. The development includes 155 rooms, two restaurants, a gym, a rooftop pool and meeting facilities.

Gavin M. Faull, chairman and president of Swiss-Belhotel International, said the launch represents a significant milestone for the group’s global portfolio. He noted that Africa remains a key focus market and said the signing reflects confidence in the long-term growth of Nairobi.

The new brand is designed to appeal to travelers seeking authenticity and smart design, according to Laurent A. Voivenel, senior vice president of operations and development for the company’s EMEA and India regions.
