Since signing with Swangz Avenue in 2019, Azawi has stood out as a rare talent whose songwriting mastery, distinct sound, and artistic innovation have transformed the Ugandan and East African music landscape. Over the past five years, she has emerged as one of the region’s most influential stars, consistently pushing boundaries across sound, visual identity, and live performance.
Her journey with Swangz Avenue has delivered several landmark accomplishments. Her debut EP Lo Fit (2020) introduced her as a breakout star through hits such as Quinamino, Repeat It, and Crazy Lover, dominating airwaves and capturing East Africa’s attention.
