Singer Stecia Mayanja has advised newly engaged singer Carol Nantongo to take her as an example if she wants her union to last.
Carol Nantongo has dominated the news headlines over the past few days following her engagement to Dylan, Mesach Ssemakula’s relative. Former bandmate Stecia Mayanja was among the people who congratulated her and wished her well.
Speaking to Spark TV, Stecia Mayanja confessed that she had been a witness to the love story between Carol and her fiancé since they were in Golden Band.
I saw her and I was so happy. I know them and how their story started when we were in the Golden Band. I wish them luck. They started dating a long time ago. I can’t tell precisely when, but by the time I left Golden Band, they were in love.
Stecia Mayanja wished Carol Nantongo a happy married life and, as part of her advice, told her to take her as an example if she wanted her relationship to last. She revealed that she has been in a secret relationship with her man, whom she vowed never to bring out on camera.
