Star studded lineup to light up Kololo as Museveni gets nominated on Tuesday – Xclusive UG.

Kololo Independence Grounds will on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 transform into a festival of music, dance, and comedy as President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni officially launches his 2026 election campaign under the slogan “Protecting the Gains.”

The event will be in the aftermath of his nomination by the Electoral Commission at its new premises in Lweza-Lubowa.

To crown the day, a powerful lineup of entertainers drawn from all corners of Uganda has been assembled, making the celebration both star-studded and all-inclusive.

Top names from Uganda’s entertainment industry are set to ignite Kololo, with performances from Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Ronald Mayinja, Catherine Kusasira, Full Figure, Phina Mugerwa, Lil Pazo Lunabe, Stecia Mayanja, Alien Skin, Gravity Omutujju, Daddy Andre, Weasel Manizo, Ykee Benda, Coco Finger, Fred Sebbale, Jingo Show, Mc Vex, Mc Kalera, MC Cash Owakabi, Zig Zag, and Man Pato.

This won’t just be it as the event will also highlight one of President Museveni and NRM’s biggest traits- inclusiveness with performances from artists all across the country. From the north, Kololo will experience the unique sound and cultural vibes of Bosmic Otim (Acholi), Odongo Romeo (Acholi), Prisca Janet (Acholi), Mc Rock, Okenge Born Town, Deno Traditional Group, Blood Moon (Lango), and JM Kennedy (West Nile).

The west will be strongly represented by crowd favorites such as Ray G, Truth 256, T Paul, Sister Charity, MC Kacheche, and Baingana. These artists are expected to bring a rich mix of cultural rhythms and modern hits.

Eastern Uganda will not be left out, with electrifying acts from Davido Spider, Rexy, Temperature Tach, Evy Treys, Victor Ruz, MC Rogers, and Idi Amasaba Cultural Group.

What’s a long day of celebrations without cracking a rib? The entertainment will also include some of Uganda’s best comedians. Among them will be Madrat and Chiko, Dr. Hilary, Teacher Mpamire, Salvado, and Pastor Twine Herbert ensuring the audience laughs as much as they dance.

With such an all-inclusive lineup representing every region of Uganda, Kololo is expected to turn into a true national celebration. Supporters will enjoy a fusion of music, comedy, and cultural showcases as President Museveni officially kicks off his 2026 campaign journey in bid to win another term in office.
