Business man Hajji Muhammad Kamoga of Kamoga Property Masters has taken legal action against radio presenter and local deejay Ssuuna Ben over alleged defamatory statements made about him throughout the past year.
According to Kamoga’s legal representatives, Kusingura Tindyembwa & Co. Advocates, the lawsuit demands that Ssuuna Ben issue a public apology through social media or pay a specified sum as compensation for the damages caused by his statements.
The dispute comes from a land transaction in which Ssuuna Ben claims he purchased the property with his own money, but Kamoga allegedly added the name of the radio presenter’s baby mama to the ownership.
This issue has led to an ongoing court battle. Despite the matter being before the courts, Ssuuna Ben has reportedly continued to label the land broker a “thief,” prompting Kamoga to take further legal steps.
In his lawsuit, Kamoga is seeking UGX 900 million in damages for defamation, along with an additional UGX 10 million to cover legal fees. The case now awaits further court proceedings.
