Ssemujju to campaign only on Sundays

Date:

Kira Municipality MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda will only hold rallies on Sundays until elections on January 15, 20026. Ssemujju is seeking to represent the constituency for the third time.

His main challenger is National Unity Platform’s George Musisi, a lawyer.

While parliamentary campaigns started on Monday, November 10, Ssemujju, the People’s Front for Freedom candidate, will hold his first rally on Sunday, November 16, at Kasokoso, Kiganda, according to his campaign programme.

Ssemujju’s campaign schedule

A week later, on Sunday, November 23, he will hold rallies in Mbalwa, Janda and Kyaliwajjala town. The highest number of rallies he will hold on a single day will eight, on December 28, when he will campaign in Kitukutwe, Kijjabijjo, Nakwero, Kimwanyi, Kiwologoma, Nsasa, Bulinda, and Mulawa.

Ssemujju’s push for ‘smarter MPs’ is risky. But here’s why he won’t give up

Ssemujju’s last rally will be in Najjera on January 11, four days to elections. During weekdays, the legislator will be conducting business in Parliament.
