Spice Diana says she does not see the value that music battles add to an artist’s career, and she wouldn’t opt for one at this point in her career.
Music battles have always been considered by music enthusiasts as a measure of might between two artists who often have beef or are competing against each other.
The most recent music battle between Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu attracted so much attention as revelers turned up in large crowds at the Independence Grounds in Kololo.
When asked if she would agree to holding a music battle with any fellow female artist at the moment, Spice Diana noted that she does not need one.
She questioned what value it would be for her to put her entire career on a weighing scale. She also noted that incase she won the battle, she would be sabotaging another artist’s career, something she doesn’t find ideal.
"Do I even need a battle? I will stick to my word, I don’t need any battle. Those are done by people who don’t believe in themselves enough; they put themselves on that weighing scale, but I do know my value. I am very content. I don’t see value in battles because there is not enough money to put my career on a weighing scale. In a battle, one artist wins and another loses. If I won, I would have sabotaged their career, and the reverse is true."
