Spice Diana supports Bebe Cool’s Ugx 10B compensation request for music legacy

Musician Spice Diana, real name Namukwaya Hajara Diana, has reacted to Bebe Cool’s request for compensation for his contributions to the music industry.

Bebe Cool made the revelation during one of his interviews, suggesting that the government should spare 15 billion and offer a staggering amount of ten billion to be shared between himself and Jose Chameleone.

This, he said, would be an appreciation for how hard they have worked and supported the music industry. The remaining five billion, as suggested by Bebe Cool, would be used to organize a music battle between the two artists.

Spice Diana, during her media interview, couldn’t help but agree to Bebe Cool’s request, revealing that he knows his worth.

It is okay because everyone knows their worth. If he comes out saying that is what he deserves, then it is okay. If someone can afford to pay him that, then well and good, she said.

While Bebe Cool sparked controversy with netizens questioning his contribution to the music industry, Spice Diana offered a contrasting perspective.

The Source Management singer acknowledged the huge contribution that the self-styled ‘Big Three’, consisting of Chameleone, Bebe Cool, and Bobi Wine, have made to the industry.

She further noted that they deserve to be respected because they were the pillars of the industry, leaving behind a significant legacy.

It is not good to forget the past and those who have been here before us. It’s good to respect how far the industry has come and those we’ve found there. It helps us to benchmark. Plus, when we also leave, we would also want the same respect.

They will always be the big three because they left a huge mark and legacy behind that nobody has achieved yet, she said.
