Spice Diana, Rema Namakula Lead Tributes After Four Children Killed by Okello Christopher Onyum in Ggaba

Ugandan celebrities are devastated by the untimely passing of four children stabbed to death by an assailant who attacked the Early Childhood Development Program in Gaba.

According to a Police report, the culprit, identified as Okello Christopher Onyum, 39, went to the daycare center a few days ago, seeking admission.

He was, however, advised to revisit the facility on 3 April 2026, which he fulfilled, and paid for the admission fees, before he proceeded and attacked the minors.

Among these were three males and one female, identified as Eteku Gideon, 02 years; Kaise Alungat, 02 years; Ignatius Sserwange, 03 years; and Ryan Odeke, 02 years.

The incident sparked outrage among the Ggaba residents, and the police and military responded swiftly to restore order, and Okello Christopher Onyum was saved from mob justice.

At present, the Okello is in Police custody as authorities conduct further investigations to ensure justice is served. Joining the mourners are Ugandan celebrities, who have taken to their social media platforms to express their sympathy and condolences to the parents who loved their kids.

Among these are Spice Diana, Chosen Becky, Rema Namakula, Juliana Kanyomozi, Maureen Nantume, Exodus, Vinka, Kataleya, and Kandle, among others.
