Radio personality Sovaria Hughes, real name Nicole Tinah Hills, has spoken out about claims that she was in a secret relationship with fellow radio presenter Mr. Henrie.
During a TV interview, Sovaria denied the allegations, emphasizing that she was just friends with Mr. Henrie and that their relationship was purely platonic.
She confessed that she was already in a relationship with someone she usually refers to as ‘Teddy Bear,’ and he is the person behind her good looks and smile.
Sovaria, however, insisted that she will not be exposing her relationship or her man’s face online, as she wanted to keep it private for now and didn’t want the public in her business.
“Mr. Henrie has been just my friend since the time I joined Galaxy FM. I have never been to his place, and all the information is wrong. I have my man, and you will know him with time. He is the one taking care of me and is responsible for my looks. I always talk about him everywhere. You have to understand that there are some things that are not a secret, but we keep them private. My love life is private but not a secret, and I will unveil him when the right time comes,” she said.
Sovaria revealed that baseless rumours aimed at bringing her down and tarnishing her reputation were being spread by malicious people jealous of her success and achievements.

“When people see someone who has achieved something, they will always talk about them, accusing them of things they have not done. In my line of work, I’m used to people coming out and talking about me falsely to others, but I know the truth. Everybody can insinuate what they want, but they are not in my life. Those are their opinions,” she said.
