Musician Sizza Man, real name Andrew Kayemba, is the centre of discussion after being involved in an alleged child neglect scandal.
Nanyonga Mariam, a resident of Pallisa District, appeared on Sanyuka TV alleging that she sired a son with Sizzaman. The artist had allegedly visited the area during a Telecom company promotion when they had intimate relations and she became pregnant at 15 years.
Later, Nanyonga, who was a S.2 student, then claims she contacted Sizza Man, alerting him about the pregnancy. He allegedly suggested an abortion, but she insisted, giving birth to a son, Kayemba Andrew.
I tried contacting him after the boy was born, but I didn’t get him. I remember he had left me Master Parrot’s number, who advised me to bring the child to his father.
Nanyonga claims she followed Parrot’s directions and got to Firebase headquarters, where she met with Buchaman and Bobi Wine. Sizza Man allegedly accepted the child and was nicknamed Buju Banton. She claimed that Bobi Wine and Buchaman offered to give her money for shopping and promised to take the child to his grandparents.

After I returned to Pallisa, I tried contacting them but was unsuccessful. I gave up and took care of my child. When he turned three years old, the situation got out of hand.

When I contacted Sizzaman, he told me to take the child to his parents. I went with Lil Pazo and met his father. The father told me I had no right to take the child to him. He said Sizzaman had to bring the child himself. I brought him back at 7 years old, and he told me the same thing.
Nanyonga revealed that he never got any child support from Sizza Man, and she took care of her son single-handedly with the help of her father, who passed on later.
I told him I was stuck after my dad’s death, and he promised that he would find a solution, but that is where it stopped, and he even changed numbers, she said.
Nanyonga allegedly took her son back to Sizza Mman’s parents because she was traveling, only to be told that he had run away because of the harsh treatment, especially from his grandfather.
When I met my child, I asked him about the theft allegations against him. he swore and told me he had never stolen any money. He said he had picked 20K to run away from the mistreatment and segregation from his grandfather, she said.
Nanyonga broke down in tears, begging Sizzaman to step up for his son and show him his family. She emphasized that she did not want any money from him since she had taken care of her son as a single mum.
