Sherry Matovu Says Ex-Husband Thadius Katumba Refuses Divorce Despite Separation

Date:

Musician and beautician Sherry Matovu has revealed that her ex-husband, Thadius Katumba, refused to grant her a divorce despite each going their separate ways.

Sherry, during a YouTube interview, revealed that she had moved on from her failed marriage and had hooked up with a new man, with whom she was planning to officially introduce to her parents.

Despite her big day coming up, Tadius, who is also the father of her children, has refused to officially annul their marriage, making it hard for her to remarry.

“Thadeus refused to divorce me. But maybe when the time is right, he will agree to do so. My marriage to my new man will happen. When he gets to the point when he is ready to marry me, maybe I will get my phone and call him again and ask him if he is ready to divorce me,” Sherry said.

According to Sherry, as a reason for not letting her go, Tadius told her that she wouldn’t get what she desired because she hadn’t pursued the relationship in the first place.

Sherry Matovu revealed that their marriage had hit rock bottom, and despite their efforts to make it work, the situation just worsened each day. She stressed that the public was also keen to notice that they were just forcing the union.

She, however, feels she has found the right man for her and would be settling down. She described him as a man of few words and many actions; a man who supports her dream and has been patient with her throughout the storm.
