Sheikh Shaban Ramadan Mubajje Calls For Regulation Of TikTok, Cites Misuse By idle People

Date:

Sheikh Shaban Ramadan Mubajje, the Mufti of Uganda, has expressed his frustration with the government for not regulating TikTok, which he claims is widely used by idle people to slander others.

Sheikh Mubajje says that TikTok is worse than Facebook, which was banned by the Ugandan government over four years ago.

He notes that the app is being used by those who have nonsense to say and idlers.

The government of Uganda closed Facebook but I think TikTok is worse. I think TikTok is not being regulated. I for one, recently was in a country where TikTok is non-existent. Then I said this is good.

TikTok is for idolers, content seekers, and those who have nonsense to say. So I would request the government to look into this. TikTok is useless.

Sheikh Mubajje further added that most Sheikh’s on the app are misguiding the public by bringing up petty issues to disorganize and disunite people.

He says the small talk does not contribute anything to the basics of the Islamic religion.

Most Sheikh’s on TikTok are misguiding. They bring petty things to disorganize the Muslims. In Ramadhan they’re talking of the little and small things which are not the basics of the Islamic religion.
