Musician Shakira Shakiraa, real name Shakira Kamulegeya Kyebalaba, was left speechless after her mysterious man gifted her a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLE.
The Benz was presented to Shakira after her evening gym session in Munyonyo. It had white boards put together by a pink ribbon, and when she opened them, she was welcomed with pink balloons flying around.
What caught everyone’s attention, however, was the sticker attached to the number plate with the words ‘I’m sorry’.
Shakira couldn’t hide her emotions as she broke down and sobbed before a group of people who were filing the entire surprise.
When speaking to the media, Shakira acknowledged that it was an apology gift from her partner, whom she said had hurt her so much.
He did something so unforgivable. Those are our problems as a couple, Shakira said as she shed tears.
He knows this type of car because I talked about it sometime. I’m a Mercedes girl. These are material things that cannot be compared to what he did.
Shakira admitted that she initially thought it was a marriage proposal, which she blatantly claimed she would have rejected on the spot.

This is the second Mercedes-Benz that the singer is receiving in less than a year. In September last year, she was surprised with a Mercedes BlueTEC Benz to ease her transportation as she was suffering with her faulty Alphard.
