Senga Kulanama’s husband, Jiumba Aligaweesa, has revealed that the traditionalist is very sick and has limited time to live following liver complications.
Aligaweesa, while speaking in a YouTube interview, noted that his wife was poisoned by unknown people, which affected her liver, and the complications intensified with the birth of their child last year. With this, he says that the doctors gave her only three months to live.
Aligaweesa noted that they got the diagnosis after their visit to Germany for a second opinion when she failed to get better with the treatment at various hospitals in Uganda.
Kulanama and her husband had previously campaigned for the ruling party, and he hoped that the President would come out and assist them financially, but to no avail. They had already tried every possible means to reach the Fountain of Honor for help, but in vain.
I want them to first take her to the hospital because she will not come from the grave to vote for them. And I will not vote either if my wife dies. I want to use this interview to caution that if my wife, unfortunately, dies and I bury her, you will have me to contend with. My wife supported you and did everything, so why don’t you take her to the hospital?
Aligaweesa revealed that upon their visit to Germany, they were asked to pay Ugx 708 million for a liver transplant, with treatment expected to run for five years. Their recent medical visit to Nakasero Hospital cost them over 96million, which included numerous blood transfusions.

I have wasted a lot of money; I would be very rich with so much property, but Kulanama is sick for real, and it got worse after the birth of our child. She has given up on her life, he said.
At this point, Aligaweesa says Senga Kulanama is at home and cannot support herself properly. With her illness, she limited public appearances.
